Susan Brown with New Leash on Life is the only pet sitter we will trust with our babies (9 spoiled cats ranging in ages from 16 months to 16 years and one overwhelmed cocker spaniel!). We have hired numerous pet sitters in the past but none of them have displayed the care, affection, personal attention and professionalism that Susan does. For the first time in years, we are able to travel as much as we'd like and can actually enjoy our vacations more because we know that our babies are being so well cared for.
Susan has not only been responsible for feeding our animals twice a day (we have some finicky ones, too!) but she also administers their medication right on schedule (we have 2 cats who are on regular medication for urinary problems). In addition, she takes our little dog for walks, cleans up the occasional pee spot (without complaining!) and gives them just as much love and attention as we would (she's so good with them that sometimes I think they'd rather we not come home!) Susan takes extensive notes about each of her visits and when we arrive home, we really enjoy reading about her time with them! She not only includes routine information (they all showed up for dinner when called and had good appetites, Kona sat with me while I watched television) but she also notices when something is unusual (last time we were out of town she alerted us to a limp one of our cats had developed).
Because our pets are part of our family, it is so important that we have good care for them when we're away. We have been truly blessed to find Susan and New Leash on Life and we would recommend her, without hesitation, to anyone looking for professional, loving care for their animals!

Odin and Percy used to give us the saddest faces as soon as they saw our luggage come out. As we were leaving, they would stand by the door looking pathetic, bringing on a tinge of guilt. Fortunately, since Susan became our pet sitter, they don't even leave the couch to see us off when we leave. That was when we knew that they were in good care.
Susan has made leaving home much easier because we know that our dogs will be well cared for, well fed, even well groomed. She treats them as if they were her own, and that is why we highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter.

For anyone who works all day and wants their dog to have fun, safe companionship during the day, Susan Brown is the pet sitter for you. Susan is extremely professional, responsible, friendly and always available. She takes care of my doggies as if they were her own, and goes way over and above in her daily responsibilities. Susan has a special gift with dogs. She takes the time to know everything about your dogs and their habits, and they just love her. I have noticed a tremendous positive change in their disposition when I get home. My dog Molly had knee surgery and was confined to a crate 24 hours a day. I did not know what I was going to do while I worked during the day until I found Susan. She readily took care of Molly everyday until she was able to walk on her own. Molly would not have recovered so quickly if it had not been for Susan, and I was stress free when I got home. Susan becomes part of your family. I look forward to her daily reports, which let me know exactly how my doggies are doing and if there is anything out of the ordinary about their routine I should know about. I have had to contact Susan on several occasions at the last minute for emergencies, and without hesitation she came right over to my home and ensured my dogs were fed and taken care of. I would highly recommend Susan Brown to anyone.

Dear Susan,
You are like a second mommy. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me each week while my mom is working. Each morning my mom tells me you are coming to play with me. My eyes light up and my tail wags!
Susan, before our daily visits I was so sad and missed my mom a lot. My stomach hurt and I cried all the time. Now I am a happy doggie and my tummy feels much better. Thank you for loving me. I hope you know each time you walk through the door my kisses and wags tell you how much I appreciate and love you.
Lucy
PS: My mom wanted me to tell you she is so grateful, and that this is the best investment she has ever made. I am not sure what that means, but I think it means she loves me.
